立正大学品川キャンパス　150周年記念館
Rissho University Shinagawa Campus 150th anniversary memorial hall　

立正大学開校150周年に向けた第一次施設整備事業の記念施設である。建物全体は主に山手通りから接続する低層部の地域連携ゾーン、キャンパス中庭レベルと接続する教室ゾーン、上層部の先端研究ゾーンの3つのゾーンから構成される。丘陵状の敷地形状を生かして街に大きく開かれた大階段広場など、特徴的なコモンズをこれら3つの機能を結び付けるように立体的に配置することで、各機能の独立性を持たせながら重ね使いなどを促す柔軟性の高い計画としている。次世代型の大学施設として学生のみならず、地域社会と共に成長する開かれた「知の拠点」の実現を目指している。

The memorial establishment is one of the primary facilities construction project for the 150^th anniversary of Rissho university. It mainly consists of three zones, the regional alliances zone in the low level connect with Yamate street, the classrooms zone in the middle level connent with court yard, and the advanced research

zone in the high level. The great stairs open space built by using original hilly site situation is one of the characteristic common spaces for the project. These kinds of various common spaces are placed vertically to connect above three zones and stimulate mixed-usage of these functions. We set out to realize a open“ hub of

knowledge” developed with not only students but also local communities as a next generation university facilities.
